Welcome to National Christmas Jumper Day

It’s National Christmas Jumper Day – time to put on your favourite Christmas jumper and do something really extraordinary for some of Ireland’s sickest children.

Will your school, crèche, family, club or group join us this year and help us to make this a really special Christmas Jumper Day?

National Christmas Jumper Day is the perfect way for your students, colleagues, staff, friends and family to safely celebrate Christmas together. It is so simple and easy to do, it doesn’t matter if you are together or some of your group are staying safe at home, everybody can join in. Every day, in CHI at Crumlin, dedicated teams of doctors and nurses are fighting to save the lives of critically-ill children. Every treatment, every operation and every child cared for in Intensive Care depends on the vital equipment and transformative treatments that your generosity makes possible. Just like Séan Óg Preston who has been coming to CHI at Crumlin since he was a tiny baby.

That’s what makes your Christmas Jumper Day so important – especially now as COVID-19 has put such pressure on the families of sick children and stopped so many of our vital fundraising events.

I’m sure you’ll also agree that, as we all get used to our masks, visors, pods and bubbles, we could all do with a little bit of normality and Christmas joy.
